I came across your website after a genealogy site sent me a birthday reminder and it got me to start searching family names for the first time in many years. I found it hard to believe that you are now 70, but then I remembered, I'm almost 60! What a great way to share your family story.
Jaedi girl / Jaedyn Enlow (Granddaughter)
I hope you have a great anniversary! You guys are "super-great" grandparents and I am really glad that I got you. I love how you come to almost all of my events and cheer me on. I had sooooo much fun decorating your Christmas tree and having lunch with both of you and Grandmama after my Awards Ceremony and just so you know I think that you are great singers!! You have super great stories to tell us as well. Oh, by the way, I really like the dress you picked out for the ceremony. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Close
Dennis's Aunt and Uncle / Eva Enlow
We wanted to share a cute note from Dennis and Cary prior to our renewal ceremony. We got a kick out of it.
"Is it too late to come to the ceremony? Cary and I were able to rearrange our schedule to free up the 25th. We do not need anything to eat and could stand in the back if necessary . Thank you for your considerations."
We have to say that they were so welcome and we loved the way they got into the dancing and singing that went on as the evening wore on. Because family is #1 with us each person that came was truly appreciated. Close

What a blessing! / Jeanne Enlow (daugher-in-law)
My mom & mom Enlow worked together before they were married (that's right). Then I worked with mom Enlow before Bryan & I began dating. I have been very blessed with two loving mom's - my biological mom (who went to be with the Lord a year ago) & my mom-in-law! Throughout the years Pops & Mom Enlow have helped us many times in various ways of which we are forever grateful. To see the love they share with each other that just gets richer every day is a joy to behold! Now it's our turn to show our love to them in this special 50 year anniversary celebration! We love you!!!
Jim's "baby" sister / Becky (Jim's sister )
I would love to make it there for your anniversary celebration, but at this time we just don't have the money. I did go to your website and it is really nice. Your granddaughter did a great job. It must have taken some time to get the pictures together and then put a story with them. You must be really proud. Will there be pictures added after your anniversary? I know that Jessie and Sharon are coming, but I'm not sure of anyone else. Jessie was so sad when she didn't think she was going to be able to make it. I'm so happy that it worked out for her to go. I know her and Sharon will take pictures and send me some. I remember when I was young when mom would get out the pictures I always loved to look at your wedding pictures. I thought Eva's dress was so beautiful. I know you will have a wonderful day, and probably a few tears will be shed (of happiness). I really do wish I could be there to share in what I know will be one of the most important days of you and Eva's life. You have truly been blessed with a wonderful family. I wish only the best for you and your loved ones. Please take care, and know that I love and miss you. Close

I want you both to know I would give about anything to be at your anniversary party but there is no way I can afford to. I want you to know my heart will be with you. I know Frieda would love to be there too but Vic is not doing well.
I want to congratulate you on your anniversary. I know you will have a great time. Love you! Close

I thought the website was fantastic. Someone in your family is very techie! I've been running at work but wanted to go back in and spend more time looking at everything. What a wonderful keepsake to have. Hopefully, there is some way to make a copy to keep.
You both have been an inspiration to all of us. You always seem to be having fun and I can't imagine a time when I have seen you that you weren't smiling. 50 years is a HUGE accomplishment. That means a lot of give and take....and definitely more on the "give" end. The thing that I love about you two is how much you obviously enjoy being together. When you look at each other it is obvious how much love is there. It gives the rest of us hope! Close

Eva and Jim - Thank you for sharing your memories with us on this website, but most of all, thank you for sharing your lives with us in person. You are a wonderful example of what a marriage is all about.
Through the years I have enjoyed all of your stories of growing up with the Baker family. Jim always talks about giving me a big chocolate bar when I was about 2-years old and having it melt all over my white dress. I loved hearing you all sing in the band, especially when Jim would sing "White Lightening." Dancing at the Baker Christmas parties to the singing of Jim, Eva, Faye and Lois was a real treat.
I remember when you babysat me when you lived across the street from the high school; Then I babysat your kids while you had bowling night. (We always watched "The Waltons" on Thursday nights.) It was a special time when I got to go to the dog and horse races in Portland with you. It was also fun to join you at Jimbo's basketball games, and then Brendan's the last few years when I came into town.
Unfortunately I am sad to say, we won't be able to make it to the party, but I will be thinking of you on your special day. Congratulations on 50 years together. I love you both.

When I moved to Yelm the very first person I met was Jim and Eva's daughter-in-law Jeanne. Her and Bryan's youngest (Nicole) was the same age as my daughter and they were destined to become and stay best friends! The Enlows have always treated my Vicki like one of the family and so I, by association, claim them as well. They set the example of what grandparents and parents should all be. Committed, kind, loving and fun. What a wonderful story and the pictures bring back so many memories! My husband and I can't wait for the celebration. Close

What a beautiful job you've done of summarizing your life together! It was so fun to read through. What a beautiful family, too! I'm proud to be related to. Can't wait for July 25th! Close

Jessilyn/ Jessie Kramer (Sister-In-Law)
Jessilyn was born on her Aunt Jessie's birthday, Aunt Jessie had a daughter, Charlotte, who was born on the same day, so we have 3 generations on April the 7th. Aunt Jessie --- April 7 1948 Charlotte ---April 7 1968 Jessilyn ---- April 7 1997 Aunt Jessie came to Yelm in 1970 to visit, she had already had Charlotte but was 3 month pregnant when she came. Aunt Becky was young at the time but she also got to come with us. Aunt Jessie was married to Leroy Dunn at the time of visit. Jessie's brother Jim kept telling her about a girl who work in a restaurant whom he thought favored me a lot. We enjoyed our time we had in Washington. Our Mom missed Jim and his family so much but she was so proud that he had met Eva and was out of Taylorville. Eva has been one of the greatest wife that any man would be proud of and our family is grateful to her. I love and miss you very much. Close
